Memory Box
We know the emptiness a family can feel when leaving a hospital empty-handed and seek to create or fund programs to ensure there is something to remember their infant.

The Angel Ambassador Program is a community-led initiative by Elizabeth’s Closet to support grieving families, honor the lives of children gone too soon, and destigmatize conversations around pregnancy and infant loss. Ambassadors are volunteers, and local loss moms, who lead local and virtual gatherings, share resources, and foster healing through connection.

Support Resources for Those Who are Grieving
The strongest person in the world is a grieving parent who wakes up every morning and keeps going.
As your journey and feeling are uniquely individual, please find what speaks to you, acknowledge the triggers and be kind to your heart.
We know grief effects everyone differently. Find support as a community when you need it, or resources for your own individual moments.

Books
These are books we personally recommend that have helped us navigate our grief journey, including how they've supported us.

Gifts
How do you find the words, gifts, support to make someone feel better? Guess what, there's nothing that heals everything, and that's OK. This list of gifts would be great gestures to show someone you care.

Online Communities
Social media can be overwhelming after the loss of a child. Should you decide it is the right place for you, these are recommendations for accounts that provided us grief resources, humor, and connectedness.

Our Daughter Died
We hope that in sharing our grief journey, our struggles, and the life of our sweet baby girl, we create a space that allows parents of angels to speak freely of their children, all of them, and gives those in their support networks the confidence to ask questions and incorporate these angels into their lives.

What is the Beaumont Bereavement Program?
The Beaumont Children’s Perinatal, Infant & Pediatric Bereavement program supports families who suffer the loss of a child at Beaumont. The program provides services to over 450 families a year across 7 different hospitals.

Meet Jeff & Lauren
Elizabeth’s life has connected us with so many people and we look forward to continuing to make those connections here with you. We are an open book, believe in an open door policy, and will continue to be honest, vulnerable and transparent.

Elizabeth's life was intended to make an impact on so many others, and our mission, as her parents, was to make sure that happens.
Our Story
We're Lauren and Jeff. We’d like to begin our story on April 8th, 2019, when we were preparing to become first-time parents. During a routine doctor’s appointment, we found out the unimaginable; our 34 week unborn child no longer had a heartbeat.
