Meet Jeff & Lauren

Hi, I’m Jeff and I was born and raised in Michigan. I am a huge Detroit sports fan, but my true loyalties lie with the Michigan State Spartans, GO GREEN! With a degree from MSU in Finance, I currently work in the financial services industry where I have a passion for helping our clients. Aside from hanging out with Jude & Liam, I’m happiest near water, traveling, watching sports, and listening to (despite Lauren’s annoyance) 90s Hip-Hop music. When I venture out, you can find me participating in a bowling league or at an MSU tailgate with my Dad.

Hi, I’m Lauren, while I was born in Cincinnati, OH, I spent my life moving all over the Midwest. Meeting and marrying Jeff gave my nomadic life some stability and I look forward to (despite the winters) raising our family and calling Michigan home for a long time. I have a Master’s degree in Communication and love the work I do in Organizational Communication & Development. Besides spending every spare moment I can find with Jude & Liam, I love to travel, exercise, read, but I’m also a subscription box addict, glutton for some trashy TV, and believe the Pittsburgh Steelers are the only team that matters in the NFL!

We got engaged on St. Pete Beach (our happy place away from Michigan) in 2016, married at Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, Michigan in 2017, and we currently reside in Washington, MI with our sons, Jude & Liam. Family is everything to us and we are blessed to be surrounded by amazing parents and siblings who have supported us through every step of this journey. 

Elizabeth’s life has connected us with so many people and we look forward to continuing to make those connections here with you. We are an open book, believe in an open door policy, and will continue to be honest, vulnerable and transparent.
